Visiting D.C.

If you plan to visit Washington, D.C., our office can provide you with passes to see some of our nation’s historic buildings and landmarks.

While most government buildings and museums are free and open to the public, our office also can coordinate tours of the U.S. Capitol and White House.

Find more information about each tour below, and use the following form to submit a tour request.

U.S. Capitol

Our office can arrange a staff-led tour for a group of 15 or less. Staff-led tours are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note that staff-led U.S. Capitol tours are not guaranteed, as passes go quickly. An advanced notice will increase your chances of securing a tour. Other public tours of the U.S. Capitol can be arranged through the Capitol Visitors Center. White House

Public tours are available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour requests must be received by our Tour Coordinator a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance. Please note that booking within this window does not guarantee a tour. White House tours are highly competitive and should be requested as close to 90 days in advance as possible. FBI Experience

Self-guided tours of the FBI Experience are offered Monday through Friday, at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations must be submitted up to five months in advance but no less than four weeks before your desired tour date. Following the submission of your request, you will receive a receipt of your reservation. Approximately one week before your reserved tour, you will receive an email notification of your approval or denial to enter FBI space and necessary tour logistics.
