We offer a competitive internship program for college students, college graduates, and graduate students in Michael’s Colorado and Washington, D.C. offices. Our internships provide an opportunity to learn about a Senate office while serving your community.
Individuals from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to apply, although we prioritize candidates with a Colorado connection. Each candidate is required to commit to at least 12 hours of work per week. We offer paid internships and internships for college credit or outside funding. Washington, D.C. Internships
Legislative interns will assist with legislative research, respond to constituent inquiries, attend committee hearings, and prepare briefs on Senate activities. Greeting visitors, answering phones, and conducting Capitol tours are also part of the internship.
