Washington, D.C. –– Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet welcomed nearly $121 million for Colorado projects in the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) omnibus funding bill. Bennet secured funding for 64 Colorado projects through the congressionally directed spending (CDS) process. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the omnibus last night. It now heads to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
“From lowering the cost of housing to expanding access to mental health care, these investments will help meet the needs of Colorado communities and strengthen our local economies,” said Bennet. “This process was an opportunity for Coloradans to tell Washington directly about the challenges we face, and I’m pleased we are delivering on their requests.”
