Washington, D.C. – Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet will speak on the Senate floor this evening to discuss the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.
In his speech, Bennet will explain why he opposes the effort by Senate Democrats to filibuster the nomination. He also will urge Republican colleagues to avoid the so-called “nuclear option,” which would have lasting consequences for the U.S. Senate.
