Fort Collins, CO – Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:50AM MT, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet will visit the VanDyne SuperTurbo engine lab at the CSU Powerhouse Energy Institute to talk with leaders about their work to develop a more energy efficient engine and highlight Colorado’s innovative energy economy. The visit comes on the heels of Bennet’s appointment to chair the Finance Subcommittee on Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure, issues that are key to Colorado’s economy.
VanDyne’s patented SuperTurbo engine combines a turbocharger and a transmission into one device, improving fuel efficiency and horsepower while reducing emissions. The SuperTurbo can power the likes of city buses, Caterpillar bulldozers, and John Deere tractors, among other large vehicles.
