Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet will partner with Colorado aerospace firms Ball Aerospace, the Space Foundation, Lockheed Martin, and United Launch Alliance to host a “Front Range Aerospace Bus Tour” on Thursday, May 30.

The tour is designed to further advance regional cooperation and highlight key facets of Colorado’s vibrant aerospace economy.

Stops will include the headquarters of Ball Aerospace in Boulder, United Launch Alliance in Centennial, and the Space Foundation in Colorado Springs.

“From innovative companies to military space assets to university and federal lab research, our aerospace industry boasts a breadth and depth of expertise that is an integral part of our state’s economy,” Bennet said. “By showcasing the unique assets that make our aerospace economy tick, this tour will help boost collaboration among leaders from across the business, education, and government sectors.”

“Our state has all the ingredients to fuel a robust space economy,” Michael Gass, President and CEO of United Launch Alliance, said. “However, in order to continue propelling that economy forward, it is essential to facilitate this type of collaboration across geographic regions and among education leaders, government officials, and business executives.”

Aerospace executives, members of Colorado’s Congressional delegation, local elected officials, and university and K-12 school leaders will participate in the tour.
