Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet released the following statement after it was announced that a scheduled vote on the Protect IP Act has been canceled:
“I am pleased to see that legitimate concerns raised by Coloradans have been heard and that a vote on the Protect IP Act has been canceled. As I have said before, I would not vote for this bill in its current form. It is my hope that all sides will take this time to come together around a common-sense, bipartisan agreement that protects against online piracy but doesn’t stifle innovation or harm America’s economic growth.”
