Washington, DC – Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet today welcomed Arrow Electronics Inc. to Colorado following the company’s decision to locate its global corporate headquarters in Englewood. The Fortune 140 company will become the largest company ever headquartered in Colorado. Arrow specializes in the distribution and service of electronic components and computer products. It already employs 1,000 Coloradans in Englewood and is expected to bring over 1,200 new jobs to the state.
In July, Bennet organized a letter signed by the entire Colorado Congressional delegation to Arrow Electronic’s Board of Directors in support of Colorado’s efforts.
“Colorado is a tremendous fit for Arrow Electronics in the 21st century economy. Arrow Electronics recognizes Colorado as a center for innovation and collaboration with a commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, technological development, and economic growth. Colorado already offers a high quality of life and is home to a great number of technology workers. It offers a pool of the most-qualified candidates our country has to offer.
“I am happy to welcome Arrow Electronics to Colorado and I commend Governor Hickenlooper and his economic development team that went the extra mile to help pave the way for Arrow’s decision. I will work close with them to help recruit Arrow Electronics’ supply chain partners to locate in Colorado a well.”
Arrow partners with more than 1,200 suppliers and 115,000 original equipment manufacturers around the world.
