Putting our nation's fiscal house in order will be a long and difficult task, but one that we must take on immediately. The job won't be done overnight, but our long-term economic prosperity and our kids' future depend on attacking the huge debt and deficits that threaten to cripple us.

- Voted to redirect F-22 funding to more critical defense needs and eliminate wasteful spending
- Voted to save taxpayers from subsidizing a $400 million alternate engine for the F-35
- Voted to sustain President Obama's efforts to cut funding for the LORAN-C program and for the Over-the-Road Bus Security Assistance program
- Voted to reduce funding for the Legislative Branch to the 2009 funding level (June 25th Vote, July 6th Vote)
